As India Vs Australia Test Series of 4 matches will start tomorrow both teams started to play off field mind games, Due to Ball - Tampering row, Australia is on backfoot as they were building their team and testing their bench strength. Both teams want to perform better in the upcoming series and the reason is pretty clear, India needs their stats to be better in this continent and on the other hands Australians were trying to get their confidence back as they are playing in their home condition where Indian batting lineup ( said to be strong) fails.

Although India is number 1 in the ICC Test Rankings, Rahane said "Australia is favorites in this series" in reply to Josh Hazlewood that said that India has the best batting lineup. So we can say that mind games started but in a reverse fashion.

Recent concluded Net Practice session suggested that India's Skipper is in the right form and the opening pair is playing nice strokes. KL Rahul is out of form currently but surely will overcome this phase. Bowling Unit doing a great job, Hanuma Vihari seen bowling Virat Kohli. Ishant Sharma is trying Attacking style whereas Bhuvi and Bumrah working on their consistency in Line and Length.

KL Rahul 2(8), Hazlewood got the 1st wicket, caught by Finch.

Bowlers bowling at a very disciplined line and length and they are getting an extra bounce from the pitch. Starc from one end and Hazlewood from other keeps batsmen 

Murali Vijay 11(22), looking good but a bad selection gives his wicket, Starc got an edge and took his 1st wicket of the day.
India lost both their openers, disappointing performance by the openers.

Cummins takes Kohli, a spectacular catch by Usman Khawaja sends Kohli back. Every Indian batsman trying to hit a cover drive and trying to hit wide outside stumps and all the three batsmen lost their wicket due to it. Kohli 3(16). Cummins has now dismissed Kohli twice in four balls in Test Cricket.

In the first hour of the test match till now, Australian dominates completely as Indian batsmen gave wickets not that Australian bowlers took. Rahul to 3rd slip, Vijay to keeper and Kohli to gully.

Rahane 13(31), Hazlewood takes another, once again trying to hit a wide offside shot. This is another shot by Indian batsmen that gave wicket. Australia on the top.

LUNCH DAY 1 
Australia dominates as India lost their 4 wickets in this session.
Kohli won the toss and ELECTED to bat first but Australia proves them wrong as India lost 4 wickets. Indian batsmen lost their wickets irresponsibly. Pujara and Rohit are presently on the crease and both are looking good.
