India was recently at the top of this list, Nigeria displaced India to became the largest population with extreme poverty. Now India doesn't have the largest section of poor people but definitely, India still has 73 Million population with extreme poverty. According to the study of Poverty in India falling @ 44 per minute compared to Nigeria's increment of 6 per minute. Maybe you think that India is coming out of jaws of poverty but let me tell you this study is about "Extreme Poverty" aka living/surviving on less than $1.19 per day (Rs 81.71 per day). After India, there is another African Country in line, Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to the World Bank, India's poverty rate came down from 38.9% to 21.2% in 7 years. India still has poverty problems and the main problem is Population.

The population is the reason for poverty or poverty is the reason for the population?

The answer resides here, The Population increasing because of poverty or poverty increasing because of the population. There is a 12% approx un-employment rate of youngsters. Limited resources and high rates of demand increases prices and increased prices increases poverty.
It is a loop which connects every dots here and there. Indian Rupee falling day by day but we hope that it will shine one day.

I read in the 12th class English book that Illiteracy causes unemployment and unemployment causes population. Educated people nowadays also struggle for jobs, it is not like that India doesn't have jobs but in our country, everyone wants Government Jobs but it is obvious that all couldn't get that. India rising in population day by day and as of today approx 132 Crores people are there in India, targeted to be the world's populated country in 2022 defeating China. GDP predicted to be around 7.7 this year. If India ran with this speed in declining poverty as it is running today, we can eliminate poverty in 2030.

AFRICAN COUNTRIES
Today around 2/3 countries that are poor is of the African Continent. Nigeria now became the World's largest extreme poverty population. Soon, The Democratic Republic of Congo overtakes India to became 2nd. an economic crisis in Africa leads to this situation. Global Poverty is increasing day by day.
