India's Vice-President V. Naidu is on his 3-days visit to Zimbabwe on his 2nd leg of Africa visit. This is the 1st high-level meeting from India to Zimbabwe in 21 years, Vice President started his tour by addressing Indian Community in Harare.
"India and Zimbabwe share a warm and friendly relation," said Vice President.
Indian Community in Zimbabwe is quite small, consisting of 500 members only in which most of them where IT professionals or accountancy and banking sector.

6 Agreements where signed:-
1. Memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of arts, culture, heritage.
2. MoU on Cooperation in the field of Traditional Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy.
3. MoU concerning cooperation and Collaboration on Broadcasting.
4.MoU Concerning Cooperation in the fields of Geology, Mining, and Mineral Resources.
5. Agreement on the Reciprocal Exemption of Visa Requirements for holders of Diplomatic Passports.
6. Action Plan on Cooperation in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
During meeting with Indian community Naidu said that they should come to India and see the development done in the country. They also said that He is happy that such a small population of India contributing a major step in Zimbabwe's GDP.
During meeting his counterpart President Emmerson Mnangagwa signed 6 agreement and also agreed to extend the loan to $300 Million for Zimbabwe's Thermal Power Plant.
Zimbabwe's President also thanked India for their support during sanctions imposed on them.
India will offer 10 Ambulance to Zimbabwe.
