DUSU Result 2018

Results of DUSU 2018 were out, You can see that ABVP bags 3 seats out of 4. Last year NSUI & ABVP got 2-2 seats in DUSU 2017. With an easy win at VicePresident post, Shakti Singh emerges as a strong winner.

President

                            

Ankit Baisoya won the election with 20,457 votes in his favor. Defeating his counterpart Sunny Chillar (NSUI) by a narrow margin of approx 500 votes.

Vice President

                                    

Shakti Singh dominated the election with 23,046 votes, defeating Leena of NSUI by more than 4500 votes.

Secretary

Aakash Choudhary won the secretary post with 20,198 votes, defeating  Sudhir (ABVP) by more than 1000 votes.

Joint Secretary

Jyoti Chaudhary won the election with 19,353 votes, defeating Saurabh Yadav (NSUI) by 800 votes.

Effect on 2019 LS Election:

DUSU Election has most effects on Lok Sabha Election. In 1997 ABVP won 4 seats and the next year BJP came into power in 1998.

In 2007, NSUI won and Congress came into power in 2008.

In 2013, ABVP won and BJP came into power with Majority in 2014.

Let see if this trend will continue or not.
