The historic decision by Supreme Court on Aadhaar as apex court term it as constitutional with 4:1 judgement. 5 Judges who delivered the “Historic” Aadhaar Verdict are Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri, Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar, Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, Justice Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra. A petitioner claims that Aadhar violates the right of privacy.

Key Factors: -

    · Aadhaar will benefit unite people.
Biometrics can help children or person lost or separated from family unite.
    · Private Firms cannot access Aadhaar data.
Now the private sector doesn’t have the right to collect your Aadhaar data and store it.
    · Linking with bank accounts, mobile numbers, is unconstitutional.
Now you don’t have to wait in the long queue to link your bank account with your Aadhar Card as SC terms it unlawful.
    · Aadhaar-PAN linking is valid.
Still you must link your PAN with Aadhaar, it will provide details of all your transaction and help to clasp black money.
    · Aadhaar not mandatory for school admissions.
Now during your children’s admission, you don’t have to submit Aadhaar as this rule is rubbed off.
    · Child cannot be denied benefits for want of Aadhar.
If the person is Citizen of India, He/she cannot be denied benefits of Aadhaar.
    · Children can opt out of the benefits of Aadhaar.
Children can opt out of Aadhaar after the age of 18 as termed by the apex court.
    · Aadhaar not mandatory for NEET, JEE, NET, UGC.
These competitive exams form now don’t need Aadhar as a mandatory feature, students will get relieved.

SC cleared its decision that Aadhar Act is constitutional. Duplicity is not easy as this card is unique and has biometrics feature although guided centre to present a security law over Aadhaar.
Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri, Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar, Justice Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra all favoured Aadhaar Act.
Justice D.Y. Chandrachud opposed the Aadhaar Act and voted in opposition.
