KICKOFF:
0'-3' - Wolves started very well and kind of dominating performance till now. Holding Possession and making accurate lethal passes. City has to engage more.
4'- 1st attack by CITY, Mendy passes the ball above the right defender to Sterling who can't control it and ball went past the line for a goal-kick. 
5'- 8'- Both teams playing a hard aggressive game, A free kick taken by Wolves directly in the hands of Ederson. 
12'- Kompany booked for his foul on Neves.
17' - Neves tries from 25 yards for a goal but misses completely.
20'- Nightmare for CITY as Kompany losses the ball in the middle and gives Wolves a great chance to score, Jota passes the ball to Jimenez who only has to tap in, Goal disallowed due to Offside, just a step ahead. Wolves playing very nice and organized.
21'- Just seconds after Wolves disallowed the goal, Aguero got a ball via a deflection, takes the shot to far post to the left of the keeper, Ball hits the post, just miss by inches.
22'- Sterling takes a volley towards left top corner from 25 yards but an impressive save by Patricio who deflected ball by one hand which later hits the crossbar, goal saved.
25'-35'- Impressive ball play by Wolves so far, City hit the wood 2 times so far.
35'-45+2'- City desperate to score but a great defending by Wolves always keeps them away from the goal. 
Coady booked for fouling on Aguero.
There is a nice play from both ends but Wolves dominating as they are playing organized and with a plan against all players.

2ND HALF
49'- Chance for Kompany as he dodges his marker and a decent ball from the corner by Gundogan but the ball travels above the post.
50'- City playing the possession game and making passes as they try to lead.
54'- Nice and courageous save by Ederson as charges from the left to take a powerful shot into the goal but Ederson came and blocks the ball as it hit his face and deflected. 
57'- GOAL!!! by Willy Boly(Wolves), Wolves takes the lead into this game as Boly header went past the goalkeeper into the net.
Replay shows that it is his hand that gets the ball into the post. Referee says it is a Goal.

WOLVES 1-0 MAN. CITY

58'- Minutes after the trail, Silva was blocked in the penalty area by Neves, demanding for Penalty all the players screaming at Referee. Not given.
65'- Gundogan desperate shot saved easily by Wolves keeper.
66'- Neves not in the good form today, Off-target shot once again, easy scoring chance.
69'- Laporte scores!!! A free kick by Gundogan and Laporte headed it in, Debut goal for Laporte.
MAN. CITY 1-1 WOLVES

90'+5'- Aguero takes the free kick and a brilliant shot but hit the woodwork and this is the 3rd time in this match City hit the woodwork. Today City on hard luck.

A nice performance by Wolves today, as City, look frustrated today. Pep Guardiola see this as an alert for the upcoming season.
