2014: Election that changed the Media

This post title is borrowed by Rajdeep Sardesai's tweet in which he uses a satire to attack current government for hijacking Media.
As we all know media is the 4th pillar of the democracy and it is there task to aware the country men about the happening in the country although they have to be government critic, there main task is to check the work of government or questions  government about the schemes or the manifesto.
They also has the task of spreading important news to the general public with full facts and analysis whether it is government friendly or not.
In today's media a trend can be seen in which you can see that only positive side of government were shown and discussed or any debate on that topic which can be utilised by the party to attract voters.
I personally don't like debate that were presented in our news channel as they don't have any "real" and agenda, They have a single point and repeat it with changes in pitch of the voice. A particular topic is not covered and always diverted to another topic which is neither related nor useful.
In recent time you can see that many of the news you come across were provided by social media not our regular media. Then what is our regular media is doing?
They are sponsored but they can't forget their basic work!
Social media on other hand is doing a great job or working as an acting media that have taken the job to spread news to every people as quick as possible.
Fake news is a problem in social media news as it can be spread by number of people as they can think it as real. So our news channel come up with a new 9 pm show that clarify the doubt about fake and real news, News channel not taking the warning sign as social media will soon overtake them in coming years as regular media is showing more ads than actual and factual news.
