A teacher who realized what was happening activated fire alarm to warn others and evacuate the building. Attacker planned to commit suicide after the attack claimed his personal diary, which contains other information also regarding attack planning and contains details of explosive hi kept for more damage across the city.
Police said that they found 2 explosives (homemade) at school during the rampage.
The resident of Houston was advised to report any unclaimed item nearby.

About Attacker
Dimitrios Pagourtzis (17) an ex-football player, an introvert.
The weapon which was used in the attack is of attacker's father and is owned by him lawfully.
The attacker doesn't have any criminal records prior this attacks.
He had given few warning signs: Uploaded picture in Tshirt caption: Born to Kill.
Administration
President Trump, in the East Room of the White House, expressed his solidarity with the people of Santa Fe and said his administration would do " everything in their power" to protect the school and keep guns away from the those who should not have them.
No action was taken from the govt even after they vow after Parkland shooting.
Minimum age should be set, strict screening process and taking guns from the owners who are categorized as dangerous.
But no action done till now, let see if the administration does something after this or not.
More high school student died in gunshot than USA military personnel in firing.
This is the time when they have to bring a strong and strict law against Guns and Rifles purchase.
Though Santa Fe High school has shooting plan rehearsed, 10 police personnel deployed to tackle this kind of attack, still, the attacker went easily in classes and held police forces for 30 minutes.
